Kenya’s top beauty editors and influencers like Joyce Omondi, Patricia Kihoro, Wanjiru Njiru, Sharon Mundia, Lyra Oko, Pinky Ghelani, Eli Mwenda, Catherine Kariuki, Maureen Waititu and Sharon Mwangi took a look inside the brand’s first Instagram-worthy experiential retail event.

Clinique, an authority in skin care and a leading dermatological brand, announced the launch of Clinique Glow Kitchen in Nairobi, a series of pop up spaces throughout Kenya. In collaboration with Kenya’s top beauty retailer, Lintons Beauty World, the first Clinique Glow Kitchen was held in the heart of Nairobi’s embassy district at Tribe Hotel. Clinique Glow Kitchen brings to life Clinique’s playful aesthetic while providing consumers with an interactive look into the brand’s scientifically proven skincare products.

“The Glow Kitchen pop-up was intended to excite both new and existing consumers in an innovative and fresh setting. We want our consumers to try our products in a way that is experiential and engaging and know that Clinique Glow Kitchen is the first of many for the brand in Africa. Our consumer is at the forefront of whatever it is we do and we aim to ensure that this is always the case in order to develop the Clinique brand in East Africa”, said Kirsty Gourlay, Product Manager for Clinique Sub Saharan Africa. “Our guests were able to participate in an immersive experience and to physically see and feel how products transform the skin.”

While listening to Afrobeat tunes, Kenya’s top beauty influencers, celebrities, and Clinique brand enthusiasts got the chance to whip up personalized skin care products by the pool, sip on customized drink cocktails, and play at various instagrammable stations. Pop-Up attendees also enjoyed complimentary mini makeup services and skin care consults from expert Clinique consultants and were enlightened by, Sales and Education Executive, Christerbella Mashigo around the benefits and science behind Clinique’s top performing skincare products.

Clinique Glow Kitchen will be open to the public at select locations in August. To stay updated and get notified on the future dates of Clinique Glow Kitchen, please visit www.cliniqueglowkitchen.com
