Wana Sambo’s single point of inspiration for the ‘Wildfire’ collection was a quote

“She lights my fire, her eyes, her hair, her body, her dress, she ignites me!”

Shot in collaboration with Idia Aisien, the #BellaStylista known for her fearless yet whimsical style, this collection was created to ‘re-kindle the lost spark in the Wana Sambo Woman’s life’ and remind her how ‘strong, sexy and exotic’ she is.

Sambo is known for her dexterity in manipulating crepe to her will to create pieces that easily transition from desk to dinner. Here, she updated the versatile fabric with ruched mesh inserts. On a slip dress, they elevate a simple silhouette, forming long cold shoulder sleeves, and decorative ruffles down the side. On an très modern interpretation of a shirt dress, a sophisticated dusty green with bold ruffle detail made a statement without feeling fussy.
