Bias In African Fashion (BAF) is looking to drive conversation around inclusivity in African fashion by identifying and asking how we can address areas of prejudice and bias in the industry.

Their new “Permute” series engages fashion industry players globally and in Africa in conversation to understand how Africa can build a strong and inclusive fashion sector.

For the second episode in the  BAF PERMUTE series, co-founders Papa Oyeyemi and Udochi Nwogu speak with Teleica Kirkland, founder and creative director of the Costume Institute of the African Diaspora ( @ciaduk ). UK based CIAD is a pioneering organization in the academic study of the fashion and modes of dressing in Africa and its Diaspora.  Watch the episode to learn more about how their work is driving diversity and inclusivity in the fashion segment and how you might be able to work with them.
