The year is off to a great start for Media IT girl, Nomzamo Mbatha. From being nominated as Best Actress at South African Film and Television Awards to numerous hosting duties and brand ambassadorial positions including Nike and Unicef, now the Isibaya star has been announced as the honoree for the Goddess Beauty Award at #IWOP2019

Nomzamo will join Tiffany Haddish who is receiving the Roar Award and the first lady of Sierra Leone Fatima Maad-Bio, who is being acknowledged for her work in the fight against cancer in Africa.

Nomazamo shared the news on her Instagram page with the caption:

The @diasporadialogues International Women Of Power Awards founded by @koshiemills take place in Los Angeles on 9 March and I will be one of the Honorees and receiving an award at this incredible gathering which seeks to create a world where the diaspora is more connected and equally progressive, uplifting, celebrating and recognizing women who have contributed to the betterment of who we are as a collective. The International Women Of Power Event is set to take place today in Marina Del Rey, Los Angeles. It will honor and celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of Global Women who are Trailblazers and Trendsetters inspiring black girls and women.

According to the organizing body; “They are Influencers, Industry greats, Dignitaries and local heroes who represent our diversity and significantly contribute to becoming ONE AFRICAN PEOPLE from the soil and in the DIASPORA.”
