Africa’s female music group, SHiiKANE, made an unforgettable entrance at the GUAP Gala 2025, embodying this year’s bold theme, “Everything Is a Remix.”
Known for merging fashion with music, the Nigerian Afro-Indie sisters Ifeanyi, Uche, and Nkem transformed the red carpet into a showcase of creativity and cultural pride, stepping out in self-designed gowns that radiated power, sophistication, and originality.
Fresh off turning heads at Lagos Fashion Week, SHiiKANE channelled their distinctive artistry into designing looks that celebrated both strength and femininity. Each gown was inspired by the structure of men’s tailoring, softened by the elegance of a gala silhouette, and finished with a touch of green — a proud nod to their Nigerian roots.
“Designing our own dresses was about creative ownership,” the trio shared. “Just like our music, it’s a reflection of who we are — bold, authentic, and unapologetically African.”
Commanding the spotlight with grace, glamour, and attitude, SHiiKANE once again proved that when it comes to music, fashion, and identity — everything truly is a remix.
