The 1960s were undoubtedly one of the memorable eras in fashion, marked by bold, sophisticated designs, bright shift dresses and fur hats.

In this editorial featuring South African Influencer Melody Molale for Cosmopolitan SA, Fashion director Cleo Marcopoulos along with a team of creatives explore some of the biggest trends of that era from polka dots to extravagant hats, fur and prints.

Set at the poolside, Melody rocks pieces from modern high street brands including Zara as well as custom dresses from SA designers Leah De Góis and Gavin Rajah – giving us Brigitte Bardot vibes.
