This past weekend, designer Tia Adeola made a triumphant return to her roots with the unveiling of her latest collection, From Lagos With Love, at GTCO Fashion Weekend in Lagos.

Following her ten-year anniversary collection, From Lagos With Love marks both a homecoming and a continuation, a heartfelt ode to the city that shaped her.

“It’s a love letter to the city that raised me as a little girl. Lagos pulses with contradiction, beauty, and rhythm. This season, I wanted to design for the Lagos girl and the Lagos guy, people who move through heat, hustle, and heart with effortless grace.”

The collection reimagines the designer’s signature codes; romantic ruffles, fluid draping, and sensual silhouettes, through the lens of her heritage. Cowrie shell beadwork becomes both armor and ornament; raffia straw is transformed into texture and movement; and screen-printed Ankara on satin bridges heritage and modernity.

Adeola also expanded into menswear, introducing breathable linens, football jerseys, and relaxed button-downs emblazoned with the Tia Adeola insignia, designed for the rhythm of Lagos, where the air itself feels alive.

Every piece tells a story of return, of rediscovering home, of staying true to essence while evolving, and of sending love. The show itself embodied that sentiment, drawing a vibrant crowd of the city’s fashion and cultural tastemakers who came out to celebrate Adeola’s return. Guests including Priscilla Ojo, Diana Eneje, Smada, and other Lagos creatives arrived dressed in Tia Adeola, bringing the designer’s world to life in real time.

The evening culminated in an after-party at Mood Lagos, where friends, collaborators, and supporters danced late into the night, an intimate and joyous close to a collection rooted in love, legacy, and Lagos.
