Salmon is one of my favourite dishes to make. I get excited every time I find a new way to make Salmon. This Firecracker Salmon is juicy, spicy and it’s just good all around. You can serve it up with roasted potatoes, rice, vegetables and just about anything. The good thing is that it’s simple and quick to make, so if you’re not in the mood to spend hours in the kitchen, this is your go-to dish.


  • Salmon
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Szechuan (optional)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Sambal Oelek Chilli Sauce(or any brand of choice)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp melted butter


  1. Combine all the above ingredients together
  2. Mix thoroughly
  3. Coat salmon evenly and leave to marinade for about 20 minutes
  4. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 350 degrees
  5. Serve with a side of choice
