The much-anticipated debut African original movie by Amazon‘s Prime Video – Gangs Of Lagos – premiered in the evening hours of Thursday, the 6th of April, 2023.

Graced by the who-is-who on the Lagos entertainment scene, the event featured an outstanding array of guests decked in line with its interesting theme – Owambe Gangster – showcasing brilliant styles from Africa’s illustrious Fashion Capital.

We saw various forms of the elegant African Gele, age-long fabrics like Voile, Damask, Ankara and Aso-oke, made into contemporary attires with gangster twists featuring tailored blazers, corsets, mini skirts, outer coats, Danshiki, Agbada, Kaftan, outer coats, pants and much more, these style stars delivered a spectacle that would linger on in memory.
