From bags and slides to t-shirts and matching floral sets, Gucci‘s 2017 collections were the items style stars couldn’t get enough of in 2017.
According to this report by Lyst, the Italian heritage brand made the top spot as the most searched-for brand; its slogan T-shirt, and the GG belt were the most-desired items, and the brand’s maximalist styling inspiring a wave of searches for cheaper imitators.

Quickly joining the #GucciGang before 2017 runs out, Davido made a statement with the Spring 2017 slogan t-shirt at the 30 Billion Concert. One of three Gucci outfit changes throughout his concert, the singer dressed his daughter in a jersey dress with Web and was later joined on stage by Wizkid who matched his fly with the GG intarsia cotton sweater, Technical jersey jogging pant and Ace sneaker with GG print, D’banj wearing a Gucci Cotton polo with Web collar and Wool cropped pant with stripes. and Humblesmith in a Black Washed T-shirt with Gucci logo.
No statistics needed, this is proof enough that 2017 was the year of Gucci!
