The world largest annual African showcase, African Fashion Week London is back for 2019. Come 9th to 10th August 2019, African fashion editors, influencers and all-round enthusiast will make their way to auditoriums of the Freemasons’ Hall, London to yet again celebrate African fashion with a two-day catwalk event. The AFWL, featuring over 100 designers, is also the longest-running African showcase in the world.
Founded by London based Ronke Ademiluyi, AFWL features creative afro-centric designers from all over the world.
This year the itinerary is not just catwalk in a spaceship-like hall, but also a variety of African Market Souk for collectors to shop pieces and that’s not all. Attendees can also shop cuisines from the African Food Village that will be on display.
