Africa Teens Summit and BellaNaija Style invites you to join an Instagram Live series conversation with African teens about fashion and lifestyle.
This edition’s theme is Refining Fashion and Beauty Standards, and it is scheduled to hold tomorrow, the 11th of September, at noon West Africa Time. In this session, we will be spotlighting personal fashion and beauty standards, fashion and beauty standards in the 21st century and refining & redefining the fashion and beauty standards.
Joining the conversation as a speaker is young multifaceted artist Sheila Sheldone and host for the day, Alfreda Francis, a member of the Africa Teens Summit community.
Fashion and beauty are constantly changing ideas. It is now more diverse than it has ever been. Our society heavily promotes beauty and fashion norms through the media, which tells us how we should all appear. Many people are unsatisfied with their appearance in the mirror as a result of the beauty standards. This conversation aims to inspire teens to redefine fashion and beauty for themselves, others, and future generations.
