Lagos Fashion Week’s CRAFTED: Heritage. Innovation. Circular Futures. theme encouraged designers to approach fashion through different creative perspectives, from cultural heritage and traditional craftsmanship to new ideas about design and expression. Chic Ni City brought its own interpretation to the Spring/Summer 2027 runway with Paradiso Chic, a collection whose title promises an escape into a more playful, paradise-inspired world.

Paradise and fashion make for an interesting pairing, particularly when translated through the lens of personal style. With Paradiso Chic, Chic Ni City introduces a collection that invites audiences to consider the mood, attitude and possibilities of dressing for an imagined escape. As one of the labels featured in the day’s runway programme, the brand added another perspective to a season filled with designers exploring what contemporary African fashion can look like.
