Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards 2022 premiered Saturday for its eighth edition to commemorate the biggest and brightest in African film, television and now social media. Another aspect that takes our excitement to another level is the incredible ensembles and interpretations our fave celebs and style stars show up in throughout the week.

This year’s edition started with an opening night gala with some of our style mavens making showstopping appearances. Also, in conjunction with Africa Magic, MultiChoice has put together a lineup of events, one of which is the debut AMVCA runway show. The AMVCA runway show held at the Federal Palace Hotel was created to promote Africa’s rich cultural fashion heritage showcased over the years through the AMVCAs, thereby supporting and giving the young designers a much-needed platform.
