It’s no secret that fashion is having a major tailoring moment, especially with the resurgence of the power suit. The statement look can be worn an endless amount of ways, but Ivie Ogiemwonyi of the blog A Million Pinks recently caught our eye with her chic takes on the trend, and we’re taking notes!
Both are summer-ready, can be dressed up and also take on the slogan tee trend in a different way.
The first look has more of a casual feel with a white slogan tee worn with classic Adidas Stan Smith sneakers. We think the green suit is perfect for weekend brunch with friends.
The other is a modern-meets-grungy bright pink suit with a black faux choker slogan tee with paired with on-trend Gucci mules and an M2Malletier red snakeskin Amor Fati. And although this outfit is equally casual, it has a more elevated feel with the grunged up styling and other details like the texture of her handbag. This one is spot-on for hitting fashion events or even for heading on a romantic day date swapping her mules for heels.
We can’t decide which outfit we like better, but we know that we are definitely trying both.
