Lagos Fashion Week’s CRAFTED: Heritage. Innovation. Circular Futures. theme encouraged designers to explore how cultural heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary ideas can shape fashion. Geometric Motion presented Indigo Exoskeleton, a 20-look Spring/Summer 2027 collection exploring indigo, structure and the influence of African identity on contemporary design.
The collection played with form and pattern through structured tailoring, bold prints and relaxed silhouettes. Indigo treatments, sharp cuts and layered details added depth to the pieces, while the varied shapes offered different interpretations of contemporary dressing.
With Indigo Exoskeleton, Geometric Motion explored the possibilities of indigo as a design element, placing African identity and textile expression at the centre of its runway presentation.
