Temi Otedola got married and left the town in awe with her fashion choices. For her traditional wedding to  Tosin Ajibade (Mr Eazi), the bride wore not one, not two, but three exquisite looks, each telling a story of heritage and personal meaning.

Temi Otedola has always been one for the minimalist thrills, and her looks were expected to blow us all away. She started off with a sculptural ceremony gown by an American fashion icon, to a beaded masterpiece infused with Korean and Nigerian artistry, and finally, a tribute to her husband’s roots in Delta Igbo culture. You could call the moodboard behind all three looks visual and emotional celebration of love, legacy, and culture.

Let’s break down each breathtaking look:

Look 1: The Ceremony Gown by Zac Posen

For the wedding ceremony, Temi walked down the aisle in a custom gown by Zac Posen, the celebrated American designer known for his architectural silhouettes. Temi Says,

“The incomparable @zacposen, the care and love you infused into designing my ceremony gown carried me throughout the day. Hand-sculpted to follow the contours of my body, each fold is deeply sentimental to me.”

Crafted in Zac Posen’s New York City loft, and sculpted by hand to flatter her figure, the gown was a minimalist yet deeply expressive statement.

Look 2: Reception Elegance by Miss Sohee

For the reception, Temi turned up the glamour in a rich red and blue ensemble by Miss Sohee, the London-based designer known for fusing Eastern and Western aesthetics.

“My vision for my reception look was to match the opulence and richness of the tent and @miss_sohee overdelivered! 7 embroidery artisans, 3 couturiers, and 5 handworkers spent 4,590 hours crafting my gown and cape by hand.”

With meticulous embroidery, a sweeping cape, and a hand-crafted Korean fan that took 67 hours to complete, this look was a tribute to luxury, precision, and cross-cultural collaboration. It matched the richness of the wedding setting, embodying the grandeur of the day.

Look 3: Cultural Tribute by Lisa Folawiyo

To honor her husband’s heritage, Temi wore a meaningful Delta Igbo bridal outfit designed by Lisa Folawiyo Studio, rooted in akwa ocha, the traditional white cloth of the Anioma people. She says,

“These Delta Igbo looks honored Eazi’s late mother, Pastor Edith Ajibade... Before she passed away in February, she sent me photos of how best to honor her tribe by wearing akwa ocha fabric.”

No doubt, Temi Otedola’s wedding wardrobe was a masterclass in intentional style. Each look was  a true reflection of who she is and the love story she’s stepping into. And that, is beautiful.
