Yesterday, after Day 2 of the Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design WeekA Nasty Boy magazine hosted the cool kids of fashion to a night at Alara‘s Nok restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos. The party was in celebration of the creative minds on the Nasty40 list, pushing the envelope in their various fields.

Honourees who were present include Ladunni Lambo, Tay Iwar, Idris King, Kayinsola Onalaja, Jermain Jason, Rich Mnisi, Papa Oppong and Dennis Osadebe. Brand strategist and Huffington Post contributor Sissi Johnson, Mobolaji Dawodu of GQ Style, legendary photographer and film maker Andrew Dosunmu.

Editor for A Nasty Boy, Richard Akuson, gave a brief speech on the importance of celebrating these talents in Africa.

The rain failed to ruin the alfresco vibe of the party as we sipped champagne, ate delicious canapés, discussing Day 2 collections that blew us away like Loza Maléombho and the beau and belle of the fashion ball, Rukky Ladoja and Obi Obi of Grey. and swayed to lit music, but shortly after a little drizzle, we continued outside and it was undoubtedly the party of the week so far.
