Contemporary fashion brand MOOFA has unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2018 lookbook tagged Senior GEH Ti Fun Won Tan.
According to the statement following the release:
For AW18, we created our fictitious character from an existing one from a 90’s Yoruba Movie classic “Senior Girl”. With a “ka ri mi” (Notice Me) syndrome, Our entire design narrative down to its entire styling, was stitched to this feminine no-nonsense-taking, opinionated socialite from the ancient city filled with rusty roofs and timeless architectural monuments, who takes on a globetrotting adventure for the very first time in so much style.
For this collection which was first showcased at ARISE Fashion Week 2018 in April, the head designer created a mix of damask textures with lace, embellishments, velvet, and sheer fabrics – fashion elements synonymous with the typical Nigerian party scene.
The chic collection is designed for modern women with a traditional taste.
